Mmm.. Fudge!

Hi all,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry about the abrubt cutoff - I think we were in a rush to go get dinner so I couldn't finish my blog entry.

I really need to go to sleep, but I'll write a little bit longer...

So where was I? Oh yeah, the St. Ignace Super 8. The view of the bridge from our balcony was very groovy, especially at night. Worth the extra 10 bucks (pre tax) for the room upgrade. We were on the second floor - The vew that you see on the website is most likely taken from one of the 3rd floor rooms.

The hotel backed up to a golf course so that was nice - green grass, pine trees, etc. Just don't look directly down. Nothin gross - there was brownish grass that looked like it was in need of a good watering.

That evening we spent some time at the pool and then we set out to forage for food (and cruise around the town to see what was around). It was perfect weather for cruising = saw the parts of town along the main strip (I think it was State Street), checked out a park along the lake, looked at a few restaurants, had dessert, and that was pretty much it.

As far as the Super 8 in St. Ignace was concerned, it was decent - I'd recommend it. Just plug your nose when you're walking around the hallways. The smells were differnet mixes of food, cleaning supplies, and uhh, other not so good smells that I won't mention.

The next morning we set off to the island...
