The L Word

Hi all,

Hope you're doing well this evening.

First of all, just wanted to say thanks to everyone that continues to read my blog even though I've been extremely stingy on the blog entries as of late. It's greatly appreciated.

I feel very loved.

So let's see, what's been going on...

Work has been going on as usual. The amount of drama is par for the course, I guess. I should be used to it all by now, right? On a work-related note, I'm coming up on my 3 year anniversary on the 13th of this month. Can you believe it?

Sometimes it feels like 3 years, sometimes it doesn't.

I must say for the most part, it hasn't felt like 3 years, so that's good. That must mean I'm having fun, right?

Something like that.

My brother was here from last Thursday to Sunday. That was pretty fun. We did our normal nerdy stuff. Video games, car shopping, car tv shows, talked about cars, etc. It was very good to see him. One day I think I'd like to move closer to him (he's an east coaster). We've talked about how cool it would be to live closer together, but I don't know if either of us would actually make the huge change to make it happen.

(sigh) Stupid responsibility and inertia.

On the relationship front, things are going very well. It's not all wine and roses (or whatever that phrase is) but I think our relationship is progressing very well and healthily (made up word warning).

My relationships are never very easy. I'm not sure why

We've started making plans for stuff in the future, so that's a good sign right?

This whole "adult" relationship thing is quite new to me. I know if this were one of those college style relationships, we'd pretty much be together all the time by now.

But alas, we're not in college.

Dude, whoever told you that relationships are easy was totally, totally lying. You should punch them. :) So that S doesn't feel dissed, it's totally worth the effort but it's a lot of hard work. If it were easy, everyone would do it. :)
