unwritten cabbie rule

One last thing...

I came back from Boston last night - lotta fun. I had a good time visiting my brother.

While I was in Cambridge I rode quite a few cabs. About twice a day. And not once did the driver have his or her seatbelt on. Never.

What's up with that? That was just an odd sight to see. Wouldn't that be like a welder who welds without goggles?

2 words to dread

Hi everyone,

Hope you are doing well.

At the security checkpoints, I am always a little anxious. Not because I am trying to sneak a water botle on or more than 3 oz. Of liquid. More because I dread hearing the words "male assist."

I would gladly take all the metal that I have on my body, take off my shoes, pull out my laptop, take off my belt, whatever.

Just don't tell me I need a "male assist."

I'm quite good, thank you. :)

Hi all,

Hope you're doing well this evening.

Long time no talk. I'm writing to you from Cambridge, MA! Very exciting. I've been here since Sunday, and all's well. I'm enjoying the conference - And learning some good stuff.

And of course, there's always good food.

So what's been going on as of late?

I was told by a game that my brian age was that of a 70 year old. Lovely. My brother has me hooked on that Brain Age game for the Nintendo DS. Not that I own a DS. I just want to play the game. Ever since the game taunted me with saying that my brain was aged and useless, I've wanted to get a DS of my own so I could "train my brain."

Not only am I crusty...

So let's see, what's been going on?

I finally watched Fast and The Furious: Tokyo Drift. This movie is not going to win any cinematic awards, that's for sure.

But of course, I liked it. Not because of the catchy story line (let's settle it - with a race (snicker)), but of course, the cars and the drifting. The main character with the southern accent was mildly annoying too.

But of course, it's a must see for any ricer car buff.
